In addition, calcium carbonate, talc and diatomite and other filling materials widely used to plastic processing and product quality has brought a new issue, affecting the smooth surface of its products and surface gloss. In order to solve the above problems, the development and application of smooth agent is particularly important.




At present, the common domestic varieties of smooth agent amide (oleic acid amide and erucic acid amide), soap (calcium stearate, etc.) and silicone (silicone) three categories. The latter is liquid, inconvenient to add and use, expensive and difficult to popularize. Although soap products are cheap, but the effect is not ideal, and the amount of addition is large, in the middle and high-grade products basically cannot be used. Oleic acid amide and erucic acid amide, the price is moderate, the effect is obvious, the addition amount is very little (0.05% ~ 0.3%), non-toxic (FDA certification), the use of a wide range. Therefore, it has a wide prospect of popularization and application.




The role of a smooth agent in resin or ink processing



LDPE resin

Adding oleate amide (0.05%) to polyolefin cable material and all-plastic communication cable material can reduce the friction coefficient from 0.70 to 0.16 and improve its colouring.




Oleic acid amide or erucic acid amide applied in EVA, PVC, polyethylene (PE), epoxy resin, acrylic acid, nylon and polyester powder coatings, can improve the film smooth, surface color, adhesion, stain resistance, adhesion and chemical resistance, dosage of 1~4%. Add oleic acid amide or erucic acid amide in woodwork paint, can increase its surface smooth, anti-abrasion, anti-viscosity and hydrophobicity, can achieve soft and delicate feel effect, dosage is 0.3~2.5%.



Nylon, styrene, thermoplastic elastomer or butyl ester resin

Adding a small amount of smooth agent in LDPE film forming process, can improve the opening of the film, effectively prevent adhesion between the film, increase the film feel and improve the surface finish.



PP wire

BOPP, as a new packaging material, has been widely used in the tobacco industry. In order to adapt to the production requirements of cigarette packaging machine with a speed of 500 ~ 800 packs per minute, its friction coefficient must be less than or less than 0.2. Only by adding erucic acid amide (0.12% or so) can such a low static and dynamic friction coefficient be obtained.




Automatic filling machine packaging of milk, soy milk, soy sauce, drinks and other liquid substances, the packaging film is required to be easy to open and dynamic friction coefficient ≤0.35, only its packaging materials in the process of forming can be added oleic acid amide or erucic acid amide to meet the above requirements.



Composite membrane
